The mothers and children at CUP and H&C had a special treat this year. On the morning of the 10th January John Thorpe very kindly came to do a concert at CUP. I had warned John that there would be lots of crying babies and chaos but we were pleasantly surprised. It was amazing just how captivated the audience was! They certainly love their music and enjoyed singing along to the songs of Bangladesh's most famous poet Rabinranath Tagore. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the time; as one of the mothers expressed at the end of the concert, 'the music has lightened my heart'.
